    Hey.

I have updates that are ready to be installed, but it wont install them. After downloading them, they automatic installer will say :

"the following updates were not installed".

Can anyone think why this is happening?

I am missing some important updates. What should I do?

Try to see the detail of the not installed updates, there should be a KB######. There is a well know roll-up update for IE7 that is having problem installing from Windows Update. You might have to download the update standalone installer from Microsoft's download center and install from it.
