I tried getting my T61p to output a video signal through VGA to my new LCD. However, when I attempted to use the extended desktop option within Thinkvantage presentation director, it turns out there is an issue with getting that particular combination of resolution. An error box appears citing an issue with color and resolution with the video device that is receiving the signal. I, however, highly doubt this as the computer can output a WUXGA signal and nothing on the computer without a problem. Choosing either display as the primary display still continues the problem. TV is a Sony KDL-46XBR4 if that makes any difference.
