    WTH Is my battery gonna be dead?

    I have only had my thinkpad E420s for 2 weeks.

    On the day I bought it, The thinkvantage toolbox showed 95% of original capacity is available.

    Today It shows up as 92%.

    Is it gonna be dead in few months?

    sounds like it needs resetting. run the reset function in thinkvantage power manager

    I have owned mine for 5 weeks, my battery is down to 96 percent.

    My T400 with a Panasonic 6-cell has 52.60/56.16 Wh (93.6%). It has 209 cycles and a first use date of October 2009.

    I have 50 cycles after 5 weeks or so.
