I don't need the WWAN card in my T60 and I don't like how the antenna sticks out. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove it myself? Will it void the warranty? Will there be a hole or there is some type of cover that can be used?

Remove it yourself? Sure... Have a look at Section 2040 under "Removing and replacing a FRU" of the T60 Hardware Maintenance Manual. Also, note that (according to the manual) the special nylon coated screws are not supposed to be re-used.

Void your warranty? I would tend to think yes, especially if you damage something in the process. The parts list identifes the WWAN antenna as NOT being a CRU (customer replaceable unit), but I do not know the warranty implications of that designation.

Leave a hole? likely.. I did not see a part number for a cover.
