    I considered buying an Asus W3V for college student. I'm leaning toward ThinkpadT43. Is the WXGA worth the extra $300?

    Unless you want a glossy screen, then no. Even if you do there are better choices. Why not this or this? Core Duo has better performance and battery life

    Who knows. Sometimes there are large differences in price on seemingly small deviations in the configuration.
