    WXGA vs WXGA+ in lenovo, brighter, clearer, better!

    Hi!
    I just wanted to share a little story...
    I just bought a wonderful lappy from ebay:
    Lenovo T410 ... first, the resolution only allowed WXGA and I was very upset as the ad showed WXGA+
    Turns out, it was simlpy a matter of updating the graphics driver...

    I did though manage to take a screenshot of both versions for you all to see the amazing difference.
    I can also mention that the screen is probably around 50% brighter too with WXGA+ than it was previous - which, obviously is not visible in the screenshots although.

    That was the issue of running an LCD at it's non-native resolution. :D

    You have a WXGA+ LCD and you were running it in WXGA (because of the lack of drivers) so everything is fuzzy and dim in those settings. Once you changed it to the native resolution everything works as it should :)
