I don't need my ThinkPad until Dec 1st. I was wondering if anyone would advise waiting until a couple weeks before Thanksgiving to order so that I might take advantage of the 21 day price guarantee. Do the Black Friday deals generally offer more savings than my SPP discount + 10% off?

It's too hard to say with any certainty.

My opinion? Buy what you need with the money you have. If you keep on playing the waiting game, you'll never have a notebook. :)

I keep track of the prices on Lenovo's sale before and after black friday for two years now, sometime a few day before or after the Friday is where the deals really kicks in. I am not sure why it is the case, but you still get very good deals on pre-configure laptop and not the low CTO model.
