    Has anyone heard anything about the upcoming release of the e220s? I had read somewhere that the date would be 4/8, but looks like that didn't happen.

    I am really looking forward to this because it seems to perfectly meet my power & portability requirements.

    Before I knew about this model I was interested in the ideapad u260, but I couldn't justify the cost given that it has the old icore processors, lacks something as basic as a card reader, and has pretty horrible battery life. I realize that the e220s may not be much cheaper if at all, but I could more easily justify the cost given the specs and hopefully longer battery life.

    Also, seems hard to talk about the e220s without at least bringing up the e420s. Overall it seems like a much better spec'd machine (not ulv, includes optical) but I think a would probably regret the size.

    Anyone else have any thoughts on this laptop or information on a release date?

    It should be releasing on around the end of April. Personally I am waiting for the E420 or the E420s with the 6630.
