I ordered a T43 2686DGU bundle with 3 year on site warranty from Lenovo Canada website on Feb 1st. Today I checked my status via phone. They told me I have to wait at least one week. Man, it takes so long to get a T43. I am considering to cancel the order. Rather waiting for a new T60p.
So, should I wait? or cancel the T43 order and wait for T60p come out?

    Regards,

Try the t43 for a while, if its not good, put in an order for a T60. By the time a T60 arrives, hopefully within your return period, send back the t43.

I agree. Give the T43 a shot... both notebooks are good, and you may not even need the power of the T60

If you're going to cancel the order, it should be because you want the T60 - and you might.

As far as being upset about the wait goes ... sorry, buddy; you're gonna have to button it up. My Z60M took over a month before it was even shipped. Dietcokefiend might have a record, though. I think he ordered his in ... like ... 1999 and just got it in the last day or so. Seriosuly, he's been waiting over two months.

He only waited an extra two week from the original ship date, hardly a long time.

I'm in Canada and I got mine on November 21st 2005 and ordered it on November 16th 2005. I find the T60s in Canada really expensive; the cheapest I can find is over $2000 + tax!

Ok, here is what I got so far.
    Ordered on Feb. 1
    Expected shipping date: March 9
the rep. tells me that they are currently doing upgrade on T43 models, . Does that mean I will receive a better built quality machine? Or they just use that as an excuse to delay my order.......

with the release of the T60, I can't see them upgrading the T43. probably an excuse.
