    hey guys.. im here from the m14x forums. I just recently ordered a y580 on Wednesday and am waiting for it to build and get here.. Unfortunately i heard the stories about them taking forever and hoping mine gets here in decent time :) hoping the switch from the gt555m to the GTX 660M is a good one and this new laptop turns out to be amazing. Will have both laptops in my house with me so i cant wait :) will post a review of things i like and dont like about it. Just a little heads up, i ordered the base model with a 500GB 7200RPM low res screen as im gonna use it for gaming. Pretty soon im gonna install my Sata 3 6gbps SSD :)
    Does anyone know if this laptop fully supports sata 3 speeds?
    Also does anyone know approx how long i will receive this laptop?

    Cant wait :)

    I ordered mine Wednesday. Cancelled the order on Friday, and it shipped after I cancelled it late Friday night. So it sounds like they've got a better supply of it.

    hmm i hope so :S and wierd how everyone that cancels their order gets theirs shipped right away :S did u order early wednesday or late? i ordered late and the laptop is still only released to manufacturing :( :S i hope this thing doesnt take like a month to get to me in canada :(

    hmmm my ship date got pushed back one day to 2012/07/23 .. which is today.. unfortunately the shipping page or whatever its called.. the order status page doesnt work anymore for me.. is this happening to yours too? :S also i called lenovo... the guy told me it ships on the 27th.. site says 23... i hope the 23 is correct :mad:

    Arrived in Alaska 7/23, now in Kentucky 7/24.

    Scheduled to arrive Thursday, 7/26.

    So it took two weeks.
