The resolution of my laptop is 1280 by 800, and any other smaller resolution I try to go to just makes everything blury. I am fine with this res. but here is the problem.

I want to have a folder in my pictures section with a bunch of different wallpapers from me to choose from. None of the wallpapers you can find online have 1280 by 800 as a resolution option though and none of the other sizes fit my screen. I tried changing the " attributes" of the wallpapers to 1280 by 800 in microsoft paint but that just ended up cutting things out of the picture as well. Is there a solution for this? Thanks.

In a word: yes, there are various solutions and workarounds. The easiest workaround would be to set the wallpapers sizing option to either "Stretch" or "Center", which one is better depends on what resolution the wallpaper is and what looks better to you.

To change this option, right-click on your desktop and goto "Properties" > "Desktop" tab in the window that comes up > and in the lower right corner of the window there is a box where you can select from the three wallpaper sizing options of "Center", "Stretch", and "Tile".

    Have fun! :D
