My t61p with factory install of Vista was doing fine until last night when I ran Thinkvantage System Update and installed the "Registry fix to resolve USB device detection coming back from Standby" as well as the new Intel Chipset drivers. Now the system is blue screening once every few hours with an error related to the Intel Turbo Memory and also getting consistent "SUB Device Not Recognized" errors with no external USB devices connected. The system was working FINE previously for weeks.
AVOID THESE SPECIFIC UPDATES FROM LENOVO until new versions come out.

Have you talked to Lenovo yet?
Perhaps rolling back your drivers would be a good idea. -
Planning on calling them tomorrow. You'd think they'd test these things. I'm running on a plain vanilla factory install with the t61p.
Warning to t61p owners!
