This should be a simple question but I have been unable to get an answer from Lenovo.

For Laptop service and the next day "depot" option.......I assume I can drop off my laptop at a local service provider for Lenovo instead of mailing it somewhere....that of course can save a couple days.

Anybody have any experience with this?

    Thanks

I'm sorry but I don't have actual experience with this - but as I understand it, you mail to the depot, not drop it off. I would guess that Lenovo has only one (or perhaps a few) depots that do all the warranty work. You receive a box from Lenovo "next day" to ship it to the depot.
