    Option 1:

    Buy another warranty.
    Sell laptop
    Does warranty transfer???

    Option 2:

    Sell laptop
Can new owner buy another warranty if the current one hasn't expired yet???

I don't know the answer for sure. I know I bought Thinkpad off eBay when IBM was still in charge, and they took my machine for repair since it was still under warranty. Not sure about Lenovo's term

Yes and yes. The warranty belongs to the notebook, not the owner.
