I am thinking of adding extra warranty on top of the 1 year standard one expiring in Nov. 2012 and are considering the following options:

    1) 2YR Onsite NBD + 2YR Priority Support $99.00
    2) 2Yr Base Warranty Extension $129.00
    3) 2Yr Onsite Warranty Next Business Day $204.00
    4) 3Yr Base Warranty Extension $209.00

Why is 1) cheaper than 3)?
Does 2) only add one extra year to my existing 1 year warranty?

    Thanks a lot!

Sometimes it's best to just accept the gift.

Yes, I believe it would be two years total.

Is that directly from Lenovo's site? A 2 year extension + On-Site for my X200 Tablet was 152 dollars.

And yes, it only adds 1 year on top the remainder of your current warranty.

Yeah it's on the Canadian website: Lenovo - Warranty upgrades and support

It's even cheaper for folks in the US.
