Hello members!
i purchased my laptop via member program (im not an employee,pf course!)
in the first week of having it there was saying 3 years warranty (till 2011) and at the bottom saying this device has a 3 year warranty.now i checked it again after some days and it says till 2009!and this device has one year warranty!why is that so?is it because i bought my laptop with employee program discount?
of course i originally chose the default 1 year warraty at the time of purchase.could other members check this with their warranty?!
-
If you purchased a 3 year warranty it should not have changed.
If it keeps on saying 1 year in the warranty look up you should call Lenovo.
I doubt it matters whether you purchased via EPP or not. -
as i said i have bought a one year warranty service but for a week it was telling me my device has a 3 year warranty till 2011 but now they changed it to 2009(the one i bought).
what was that 3 year then?a mistake or its part of epp which they now know im not an employee? -
Ah, I thought you meant it said 3 years in your invoice. In that case, if you didn't buy the 3 year warranty it sounds like it was a mistake that they corrected.
I don't think EPP members get 3 years warranty default, though I could be mistaken since I didn't purchase via EPP. -
Thank you man.i have heard some people here buying via epp and got 3 year warranty.i did too but it changed to to the must-be 1 year.could anyone used to have a 3 year warranty or a situation like mine confirm it?
