This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I ordered a R61 with the 2yr Thinkpad protection w/ accidental coverage. It just shipped, and was just wondering why it shows the warranty as expiring 2008-11-13.

    give it a few days. it takes a while to update. i had the same problem, and it updated in a week.

    Shoot, mine was the right year, but an extra 3 months. I was hoping it would stay that way, but it doesn't sound like it :)
