Warranty for X220, help me decide...

Hey I'm new here.. I'm going to buy the following X220 for college..(feel free to comment on the configurations if you like). But I'm not sure about which warranties to choose.

In most cases, I'm a very careful person; what I'm looking for is more technical defects than human damages; therefore, I'm thinking about longer term warranties. And my school is somehow far from metropolitan; therefore, I'm afraid the purchase of onsite warranties might not be useful.

But problem here is I feel the premium for this insurance seems too high.. it costs me $210.33 to upgrade to 4YR Depot + 4YR ThinkPad Protection. Therefore, I would like to ask you guys whether or not the warranty worth the two hundred bucks~~

In my eyes it's well worth it as all it takes is a split second to damage your laptop. (Spills, drops, electrical surges, etc.)

Voted. When I bought my laptop a few years back, the battery warranty only allowed you to replace your battery one time during the warranty period. You may want to look into that as it would be cheaper to buy a battery down the road for much less than what the warranty costs. I'm not sure if the policy has changed since then.

Onsite warranty is well-worth the small extra expense in my experience...

Minimum on site warranty, ThinkPad Protection if you are a klutz/bad luck always follows you around.
