    Warranty lookup is not returning details

    i'm using http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=LOOK-WARNTY#sw to lookup my warranty details but for some reason i'm getting this:

    for both my W500 and X300, although the same page was working for X300 yesterday !

    Works for me, minus the warranty information being incorrect.

    i entered the first four numbers of the Type which is 4062 then the serial number did u enter it with - or without ? for example L3-A173# or L3173# (i replaced last digit with # for security reasons)

    doesnt really matter. but sometimes the system does go down. (at one point i was checking it daily to see when my warranty would be updated)

    The warranty lookup sadly is often wrong. Just call and get it straightened out.

    this is not accidental one right ? if i slip water or break it by mistake or damage anything?

    how to know whats exactly covered with the limited warranty ?

    Yes, you're correct... it does not cover accidental damage. Mine says:
    As for the warranty coverage, you may want to check Warranty and Licence Agreements on Lenovo's website. I can confirm that Warranty Lookup and Parts Lookup have been often down recently, returning no results for my machine.
