hi,
I brought a T500 couple of months ago from lenovo outlet. when i did a warranty lookup in December a full month after i brought the machine, i got 3 years of warranty. i checked up with lenovo and they confirmed that i have 3 years of warranty.
today i checked the machine warranty status, i see only 1 year. what should i do?
Thanks,
Martin

Call them would be a good 1st step.

Did you order a 3-year warranty, or did you get it by accident?
-
Don't the Outlet machines usually come with a one-year warranty.
-
i asked abt the details of the particular machine before i brought it. i saw the 3 years warranty i did check up lenovo and they confirmed it has 3 years warranty. does the depot warranty override the previous warranty on the machine? if it does, lenovo did not inform me

watching this post, I got question..
what Warranty service upgrades/Warranty service upgrades plus Accidental Damage Protection should I get with lenovo? (home-school,will move almost everyday)
There are about 15 differents warranty service, anyone know which one fits me better? -
As ZaZ said, I have also seen statements like that before in the outlet section. I would think that the 3 years warranty has been auto-replaced with the 1 year. You should call them and convince them to get it back.

I have the similar problem as yours before, the warranty shows up as 3 year after a few week. it's weired
-
is there any chance of getting it back?
-
call...demand if you checked on the outlet and confirmed it with them.

Sounds like a systems glitch on their end. If you didn't specifically order anything more, I'm pretty sure the outlet only offers the standard 1-year warranty. It was probably showing up as a 3-year in error (meaning you never actually had a 3-year warranty).
If you *did* pay for a 3-year warranty, it should list it on your receipt or bill of sale, and you should *definitely* call them. I'm sure they'll straighten it out. -
i checked the bill and there is nothing there that indicated warranty. if it is a system glitch , they sure took a long time to correct that. they should have never confirmed that it has 3 years warranty
Warranty reduced
