So now, in addition to no standard screens and no 9 cell batteries, you also can't buy a regular extended warranty, only the warranty with accidental damage protection. What is going on with lenovo?

When you first posted this I didn't believe it, but I just checked. Weird stuff is going on their site. I used it last night and things were fine. I heard that Lenovo will pull ads from their site if they are out of stock, but the stuff I just saw was very weird.

Here are things I am observing..

    1.) 9 cell battery no longer being offered on a 15.4" T61p
    2.) I don't even see the option of buying the 14.1" T61p
3.) You can only choose a warranty with accident protection. I don't see any options of getting the usual warranty. There isn't even a button to say base warranty, just one that says "none"
4.) When I choose the none option for the warranty, my order is still showing a 1 year standard depot warranty upon checkout.

Anybody have any idea what is going on??

The regular extended warranty has returned, pricing is worse though. Glad I had a quote saved. I wonder if they were trying to force people to save quotes with a higher priced warranty to generate more profit.
