Just noticed my warranty changed from Year One-In House repair-parts and labor and years two and three, parts only to... 1 year EZ only, shipping at my cost unless you take it in to a local dealer.

That's strike two. I just can't trust this company anymore. I've had HP's, Gateway's, Acer's, Compaq's... None of them pull these kind of stunts, giving you less than what you paid for. A T60P bios information when in fact I ordered a T61. Somehow Lenovo knows how to change things internally to make them look like the real thing. T60's never had the X3100, just the 950's.

I can look at my other laptops, yep, it says exactly what it's supposed to have RS200M, Intel 915, IGP340, etc.

I guess that's why they put the Thinkpad sticker instead of the IBM logo.

Are you sure you didn't type the wrong Part number when searching for your warranty? I've done that, typed 8991 instead of my actual laptop part 8891. There was infact someone with a 8991 laptop with the same serial number and a different warranty. I got spooked for a minute but realized I had typed the wrong part number.

So, which phone number do I call to get this resolved? People's poll gives all sorts of reasons why not to buy Lenovo. I have out-of-pocket costs. Maybe I should just give this company two thumbs down and justify why other people avoid Lenovo. Taboo in my neck of the woods.

Sheesh. If a product can't be built or sold correctly the first time I've should have taken the warning and put that money back into HP instead of... you should have got a X61 or better yet, you should have upgraded to a Quadro 570, etc.

I don't get this kind of lip service from the other 3.

Do you want me to hold your dick for you while you pee too?
do some legwork ! Gotta feel for people who whenever a problem arises the first thing they do is bitc* and whine instead of doing something about it. How hard is it to call lenovo?

I didn't know you constantly watch people all day and night through the cell tower just to get your jollies off. Shame on you people. Strike three!

Seriously, I want to reach the appropriate department instead of having to wait on the phone. No complaints, no bickering, just results. That's it.

I shouldn't have to justify to anyone what is reasonable to do. Purchase a product with no headaches, meaning for now, a product that doesn't break down shortly after purchase and if it absolutely must break down, at least have good customer service.

Why do you think everyone nowadays buys Honda's and Toyota's? Reliability. Don't have to deal with service issues because they are reliable. No trips for repair because they are reliable. RELIABLE. That's all. No headaches. Hassle-free.

    Call Lenovo. Problem solved.

If you really think HP is any better... you've never had one :)
