I got it from a web special at Lenovo ($1,249.00). I managed to get it down to $947 because I'm a student and asked for a further $50 discount. It was around $1,020 after tax and shipping.
Specs:
Intel Core i7-620M Processor (2.66-3.33GHz, 4MB L3, 1066MHz FSB)
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64
12.1" WXGA LED Panel, 3x3 UltraConnect II antenna
Intel HD Graphics
4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)
TrackPoint with Fingerprint Reader and Touchpad
320 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm
ThinkPad X200 Series 9 cell Li-Ion Battery
ThinkPad bgn Wireless
I'm going to be using it for college. Needed something very durable with long-lasting battery life. It's on its way currently.
So, did I get a good deal or what?![]()

a very good price for the spec.

Thank you. The only problem is the waiting though. It says it might take up to September 2nd to be shipped. However, I have some hopes that it'll be shipped a bit earlier.
How was the process for you? -
the delivery time varies, also Australia is not directly comparable with USA.

Was not expecting it, but it just got shipped out today!

this is great, you should get it in a few days.
Was this i7 4GB x201 Thinkpad for $947 a good deal? :)
