Does the Lenovo T61p have built-in webcam and ThinkLight?

If you ordered the smaller 14 inche model, then yes, the web cam is an option. However, you are referring to the "P" model, than no, because the only model they have now is the 15.4 inch T61"p".

    Hope that helps.

Only the 14.1" widescreen T61 (non-p) has the OPTION of a webcam (you can get it at the expense of not being able to select a WXGA+ screen). The 14.1" (standard) T61 p and non-p models, 15.4" wide T61s, and the 15.4" wide T61p models do not have a webcam option.

So to answer your question, yes the T61p has a ThinkLight (all ThinkPads except the tablet have one) but not a webcam.

not true for all, my R61 is a white LED. they may have used a yellow to help with glare prevention much like in foglights.

In Canada you can order a 14.1" WXGA+ screen with a webcam - I have this setup. I have no idea why you can't do this in the US, though.

not sure. maybe luck of the draw. probably have to find out the batch number and see. maybe the CTO's are white and prefab's are yellow.

I believe (this is from another thread here) that the R61i models have the yellow ThinkLight.

edit: I can't find anywhere that says the R61i models have a yellow thinklight. I did find this, however:
