    When will this feature be available? (It's not an option on Lenovo's website)

    Also, what is the resolution?

    The resolution is 1.3MP, I'm not sure on availability.

    when i called to inquire about discounts, one lenovo rep quoted the webcam being available in the middle of june.

    I placed my order online w/o webcam and then called up to get the webcam and the rep put it in with no problem. Hope this doesnt delay my order an extra month.

    Are you sure the rep didn't put in the optional USB webcam? If he put it in with no problem that's what I'm guessing happened. The cost increase is around $60-$70 for the USB webcam.

    I talked to a rep today named Jen and she was told most configuration options, including webcam, would be rolled out by the end of this month (hopefully).

    This is intriguing. Like vermicious said, is it really the integrated webcam that the rep put in? How much extra was it?

    I'll have to call them up tommorrow and find out.

    Hey sorry about the delayed response...I got a call yesterday basically saying that if I wanted to webcam I would have to wait an extra month as it is not available yet. I told them to forget it.

    Well, thanks for clearing that up.

    I think I'll go ahead and ask them to add it to mine. A month isn't so bad when my ship date is already 6/4. And since I already placed the order, I hope I get it right after they release it. I hope it's no more than $40-50.

    I called two sales reps today and I could not get the webcam added to my order. They said they cannot add it because it hasn't been released. I asked them when they plan to release it and they didn't know for sure, "possibly a couple of weeks or maybe a month".
