    Webcam software for T61?

    Does anybody know of some free software that is compatible with both Vista and the integrated cam in the T61? All I need to be able to do is take still shots.

    you can use google's picassa software to do this.

    I don't think you can, it looks like you can only import photos from devices such as digital cameras.

    some people have reported success using windows messenger or google's picasa. i have a z61t, and i found that google picasa recognizes my webcam. my friend has a t61, on the other hand, and his picasa simply does not see it, so he's out of luck for now. some people on another thread have said that picasa works on their t61's. i dunno...

    i think this is a significant issue (and remember, there are still no vista drivers for the integrated webcam) that lenovo has had a lot of time to resolve.
