Would someone please post the weight of the X230 (non-tablet) with a 9-cell battery attached? Mine arrives today and I need to decide if I will keep it or the Zenbook Prime for travel. I already carry a Lenovo T400 for work, so this will need to be a light machine. The Zenbook is 4.1 lbs with the cover, power supply and dongle bag. I believe the X230 "starts" at 2.9 lbs (4-cell?) but I'm not sure how much it weighs with the 9-cell. Since I already carry a Lenovo power supply, it may be worth it weight-wise to carry the X230, providing it isn't like 5 lbs.
Thanks!

About 3.8+ pounds total for 9-Cell, 3.5+ pounds for 6-cell.
For a 6-cell will give you about 9 hours battery life which should be enough for you, no need for a 9-cell. If you no choose Bluetooth will give the laptop less weight, or choose SSD replace the HDD will also lead to less weight. -
Thanks. I already got the 9 cell and Bluetooth. The machine is out for delivery today. I cannot stand the track pad on the Asus so I may just keep the X230. I cannot find a 4 cell battery though.

The X230 is 3.3 pounds with the six-cell battery and 3.7 pounds with the nine-cell. I've had my X220i a scale and it was 3.3 pounds with the mSATA SSD and hard drive.
Weight of X230 w/9 cell?
