I used CCLEANER and used the registry cleaner and now all of the sudden my computer seems like it is faster, less glitchy and more stable? What did it do to do this? It removed unused DLL's, and fixed issues... How can this affect my Lenovo's performance?

I would say It's a miracle!!!

CCleaner removes unused/broken registry keys and deletes temporary files. Basically the idea is that every unused file or key takes up a tiny bit of space and a tiny bit of processing power. After using a computer for a while the OS and programs build up a large pile of unused data. CCleaner deletes these thousands of files.
Errors are the same thing. If you have an old, unused key and your OS/program notices it - it might cause an error. Delete it and no more errors.
I used CCleaner on my old computer and it would definitely speed it up temporarily (until the crap built back up). I would however warn you that sometimes it will delete useful things - for me this was when using uncommon programs, but it was still a pain to have try and get your program work again (especially when your license management system was crippled by it). -
You mean it deleted file extensions?
Weird issue with T61...
