Let me start with my configuration:
T61, 4965AGN with the latest driver from Intel 11.5.
The T61 has been wiped out clean and installed Vista Ultimate, followed the guide posted on here.
But weird things are happening now. Some websites don't seem to work with either Firefox or IE. They work for a while and then they just stop working, and this is the case with big sites like Google for example. Basically, it just doesn't connect to them, so I have to turn on and off the Wi-Fi and then everything works again for a while.
I've tried this at work and home, so I know it's not the router. Any ideas? I am using the Windows Wireless software, but I also tried Access Connection as well and same thing.

What kind of router are you using? I have a Linksys Wireless Access Point that seems to be incompatible with Vista and firmware doesn't exist for it so I switched back to my Netgear Wireless router and it works perfectly.
We would drop connections with the Linksys constantly. I read that people have disabled IPv6 and other TCP/IP features but I found it all to be BS. Once I switched routers, all of my problems went away. -
How was your wireless working before you upgraded the 4965AGN driver to 11.5?
Have you considered reverting back to the old driver? -
well, the Netgear is the one that seems to be causing more problems, the Linksys one with a 3rd party firmware works better. So, I'm not sure.
It was the same way before I upgraded to 11.5, I think i was running 11.1.0. something, but no difference as far as I can tell. Are there any known issues with the newer driver?
Weird wireless problem
