Simcity 5. A waste of the Y500's graphics power.

I'll check my setting when I get home but I think I have everything turned up and it runs smooth as butter. It even runs smoothly on single gpu. It might be that my lighting setting is not turned to max......

Update: Yes, my settings were all set at "high", I then selected the "ultra" setting when available and still smooth as butter.

I play tera too, I don't seem to get great framerates on max settings (20-60) but I think it's bottlenecked at the cpu since decreasing graphics doesn't help as much as it should. How's your experience?

It an mmo thing, I have that prob with many free to play mmo's, its just cause of connection and large amount of player pop in an outs combined with a poorly designed engine (like most free to plays) you either learn to live with it or quit playing imo

This describes Planetside 2 PERFECTLY. What a poorly optimized POS... It's a great game otherwise but those issues are ruining my enjoyment of it.

Speaking of mmo's, anyone planning on getting final fantasy a realm reborn? Was never into mmorpgs but always liked final fantasy. Planning on picking it up in august when it drops.

i played the beta. square doesn't understand the mmo world i think. they need to make it more like gw2 i think. at least in terms of leveling. they can make us level up slow but do we have to fight against other players for mobs? beta was crazy because everyone was just trying to level up and especially in the beginning where everyone was low level and therefore everyone just camped outside the first towns. this made leveling up a drag because there would be like 5-8 guys trying to kill the same creature.

i gave up on it. a realm reborn is going to suck i think.

Starcraft 2 here and Heart of the Swarm 1080p on Ultra and Extreme AFx16 every visual detail Maxed out, 60 to 80 fps at times, now if I turn on Ambient Occlusion it drops to 30 to 40 fps at times. I personally tried it every which way. And its impossible to notice the effects or benefits of Ambient Occlusion in Real Time moving Gameplay. You can only notice Ambient Occlusion if you do a side by side video or take a Screen shot and compare.

Batman Arkham City all details set to Max and Ultra, again no Ambient Occlusion because you can't notice it and all it does is make Arkham City which is a dark game even darker. No AA, And AFx16 getting 45+ FPS on 1080p settings I set the PhysX to CPU and then to GPU can't tell a difference. And Tesselation is set to High.

I guess the real star of the GT750 which is equaling some higher spec card is the Memory Speed set at 5000 out of the box and Core at 946 really more performance than I expected.

Far Cry 3 I have to tweak the settings theres just TOO MUCH foliage If I rub on Ultra or Max I get low 20's frame rate but High is good enough and theres again no way to distinguish Ultra or Max from High unless you do a side by side. Again no AA and no Ambient Occlusion getting solid 45 to 50 fps.

Thats all the game I own. Looking forward to Call of Duty GHOSTS not sure If I will get that for the PC or Xbox One, will be good to see how the PC compares to the Xbox One version.

Sorry for the late reply , my experience on tera is very good its not that great but is more than good, i really enjoy playing this game on this laptop the 1080p is the combo <3, only get laged when they are like more than 40 people on my screen.

Just a note, The Witcher 3 hasn't been released yet, you're probably thinking about The Witcher 2.

Sli, even just running the single it has plenty of power of power, as an example this video shows even a singe 650m can run it on high setting 40 frames+ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKK4ccfrFMc i have sli 750m so my 750m sli is brings alot more power than you need for skyrim.

I'm sort of a jaded gamer and a LOT of AAA titles turn me off. Honestly, I sort of blame modded-S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for this (anyone feel what I'm saying?)

Here are some of the gems I've played (or replayed) this year:
(BTW all 1080p, Med/high settings, target framerate 60fps)

STALKER COP + misery mod (w/misery mod this might be my favorite FPS of all time)
STALKER SOC + oblivion lost 2.2
Far Cry 2 + Dylan's realism mod (honestly I like it better than far cry 3 xD)
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines + Camarilla Edition Mod (total blood pool drains over time+other gameplay adjustments) + Sweetfx -one of my favorite RPG's of all time-- if you like DX:HR, you'll like this (it plays VERY similarly).
    Hotline Miami
    Metro 2033
    Metro Last Light
    Dark Souls
    CS:GO
