    What Video Card Should I Select?

    I plan on buying a T500 (1680x1050 resolution LCD) in a few days, but I need a few questions to be answered regarding the components before I decide to finally pull the trigger, specifically, the video card. I do not plan to game at all, but I am a media junkie and plan on installing a blu-ray player down the road; in addition, I have notice that in the last past few years many “normal” programs have increasingly become video-card intensive, since I want this laptop to last me at least 2-3 years, I do not want to buy technology that is going to become obsolete during that period of time.

    1. Is there any noticeable difference regarding image quality between the x4500HD and the ATI card?
    2. With a 6-cell battery, by how much time is the battery life going to be reduced if I select the ATI card?
