I bought a refurbished T400 from Lenovo outlet a few days. It is shipped, but I have not got it yet. Can somebody suggest a few things to do to test a refurbished Thinkpad?

Thanks very much for your input!

Well, depending on what type of refurb you bought, the first thing I would do is physically examine the laptop for any defects. Other than that turn it on and see if the included components are exactly what was on the order and also Lenovo should include PC Doctor which has some system diagnostic test, run those tests there and see if it throws up something serious. Otherwise, you should be all set to use the laptop.
