I saw this on e-bay

today, so basically, a seller is selling a $3,500 notebook for $800?
Is this legit? And if so, makes me wonder about the markups on notebooks. I did not think they were greater than 50%.

SCAM!
Note that he doesn't list his location.
Besides, $800 for a laptop with those specs? Bullcrap. -
nice call bhtooefr, it's been removed from ebay in the last hour anyway, obviously it was a scam and people jumped on the seller pretty quickly.

It is weird. The guy had close to 100% positive feedback. How do you evaluate sellers on ebay? Obviously, positive feedback means very little...
Thanks for your inputs. -
I've heard that a good rule of thumb is to only buy from sellers with triple-digit feedback.
He had 42, IIRC. That's low enough that he could have *BOUGHT* some things, gotten some high feedback, and used some shill accounts to drive it up further (buying things from himself). -
Could have stolen an account as well.
What are the wholesale prices on TP T42 and T43?
