    What color are Y430's?

    I would like to know if the front of the Y430 is red or black??? I ordered one, but now I see pictures with the Y430 as red or black. I would really hate it if mine showed up red. No where in the item list did it list red or black front....

    Well, the Y430 I ordered and received in April '09 is completely black. Nothing red about it. The Touchbuttons near the screen are orange.

    The outside of the case is matte black with a cool dark pattern on the top. The top feels real good to the touch. The keyboard and touchpad area are matte also but the screen border is glossy as is the entire screen itself. Not real bad glossy but glossy.

    I've have zero trouble with mine since I received it and I use it all day long everyday!
