    I am considering to buy a X40. It's so cute. light enough to carry easy.

    I considered it, but the lack of internal optical killed it for me.

    cute? I'd call an Apple iBook cute, but the x40 is only cute in the sense it is small. Also, I don't think you should make a buying decision based on cuteness [ :)]

    The X40 has no optical drive (CD drive), so as Brian alludes to, make sure that you're okay with that.

    In general the X40 gets excellent reviews though, so if you think it fits your lifestyle it wouldn't be a bad decision by any means.
