    Is using the Air Duster good enough and how often should I can the fan.

    Some also say to keep the fan from spinning as you are blowing the dust off.

    The reason is to avoid that the fan makes power back to the chipset... It's a solenoid, so it works in both ways

    Exactly what I was going to say. Just don't let it spin too fast, you should be fine otherwise though.
