    What do you think of the newer Dock design?

    Hey all...

    So I got the Advanced Mini Dock (still waiting for my action T400), and wondered what people thought of the new design (with the top-left corner sticking out from the main body of the dock)?

    I personally prefered it when the dock was rectangular, without a bit sticking off to the side like that; the old design fits better in some places (eg. inside desk cubbys, etc.).

    Opinions?

    This is the regular design, I don't think it has even been changed apart from adding DisplayPort. The 'old' design you are referring to was only used for the X series.

    Hmm - I have the mini dock for the X, but I have the full dock for my A31, and they're both rectangular... I probably just missed this style then.

    Well, maybe it was did used to be that design. But the A31 is fairly old and IBM would probably have changed it sometime even if they didn't sell the ThinkPad brand to them.
