What do the initials ASM mean in ASM P/N XXXXXXX, which is given as an alternative to FRU P/N XXXXXXX on a battery?

ASM is internal manufacturer's (IBM/Lenovo) part number, while the FRU is the part number (Field Replaceable Unit) that the "outside world" uses when searching for/referring to a particular item.
