i'm actually using windows xp. since you have a link, i guess it's not discontinued after all. but do you know why it's not listed under the windows xp section anymore? it used to be.

the TVSU has been briefly discontinued since lenovo wants to save up a bit of money. then the thinkpad userszssszzs express their anger/dissapointment with lenovo. then finaly they caved in and began to re-introduce the TVSU as of late June, they begin to bring support for XP and Vista SP1 or earlier; early june, but in late june they also support ppl with Vista SP2.

you need to download and install TVSU-Vista SP2 patch then download and install a new version of TVSU from lenovo. in that order. you need to download this manually from lenovo website. (what a pain huh?)

go to lenovo website, then go to download and drivers, then enter your laptop details, then look for ThinkVantage System Update. download and install it.

Save money by discounting TVSU? I think they already save money by giving us flexy keyboards, luckily the chassis are still mostly intact.
