My t61 arrived the other day with an all black keyboard. Looks nice, but I expected a blue enter key. I guess things really do change.

my T61p 15.4" keyboard still has blue enter key.. And I think Lenovo is bringing back red marking on the trackpoint keys as well.

I have blue "Enter" key on my T61 15.4" also. I wish the trackpoint buttons had red markings on them like my old R40. Oh well.

No more purple enter keys ?? That's outrageous! That's one of the only two things I adore about Lenovo keyboards... purple enter key and the keyboard center mouse nipple! :D :D

I didn't know they were getting rid of the blue button... what a bummer, it's a defining characteristic along with the red trackpoint nipple.

    Indeed!!!!!

EDIT: I mean seriously!! What are they thinking ?! First the enter key... next they might start with non-coloured nipples! Non-coloured nipple = no deal!

ThinkPads used to always come with a black Enter key, and for years, there was a black TrackPoint cover in the little bag with the extra red ones.

    LOL

I definitely wouldn't mind having a glossy ThinkPad with an all black keyboard. Something like this:

Ouhh...that's pretty Arkitekt! I'd hate to imagine the amount of time I'd spend wiping off smudges and fingerprints though :).

Arkit3kt, you are really getting good with the photoshop! It reminds me of KITT from Knight Rider with the all shiny black with the red sensor. I love that show :D

Good thing I'm one of those people who have dry hands and don't leave noticeable fingerprints much. :)

    LOL

You're right, it does look like KITT:

Maby to disassociate it from the "blue screen" of crashing after pressing enter.

My T61p came with a blue enter key and blue ThinkVantage key.
