I am looking at a z61t and it comes with the Verizon card. What is it and do I need it? I am going to be a student at UCLA and am wondering if it will be an important feature for me. I think there is free wireless internet on most of the campus.

The free wireless internet will use the WiFi card not a WWAN card which uses the cell phone network.
