    I got my new T530.

On the rear, there is a yellowish USB port. It is 'power port". What is that for?

The left side has two blue USB ports. They are the only two USB 3.0 ports, correct?

The last USB port on the left side is regular USB port, correct?

If I wanted to charge my cell phone, which USB port is most appropriate?

    Cheers!

If you want the Yellow USB (powered USB) to charge your phone while your laptop is completely turned OFF, you need to enable it to do that via "Power Manager".

I believe by default, least on Win7, it is only enabled to charge while the computer is turned ON, possibly even standby but not while the computer is OFF. To fix this just tick the "Enable even when the Computer is OFF" box in Power Manager.

I feel that in terms of design and, at least, for me, it is bad idea to have that the rear USB port powered because I always put the mini dongle of my wireless mouse there and rarely reach that port for other devices....

    Cheers!
