OK, so I have an option between
    14.1 WXGA TFT
    14.1 WXGA+ TFT
    14.1 WXGA TFT, w/ Camera

I am thinking about WXGA+ TFT, but they say that WXGA TFT is a popular upgrade. Also, how come nobody buys w/Camera option?

    1. WXGA = 1200*800 resolution
    2. WXGA+ = 1400*900 resolution

I guess the reason some people don't buy with a camera is because these are business based laptops, and what function does a webcam service to the professional? Even as a college student I have no need for a webcam. In my eyes they are a pointless addition to any laptop.

because its too small to work with on that size LCD, for me 1024 is too small to read on my X series

OK, thanks for the info guys.
    one more question:
Is there anyway, to predict, to prevent getting a Samsung LCD? What are my odds of getting LCD on 14"? And if I get Samsung, is it really that bad? I mean, I read a lot of post about ppl complaining about the quality, but really, can it be that bad????

Does Lenovo do refunds if I didn't like the LCD?

Some people don't like the samsung but I personally do not have a problem with it, and there is no way to know which one you will get or to prevent getting a samsung

braddd - Wait 10 years and ask yourself again if a camera in a laptop makes sense. Everything changes when you have kids or out of town family members who have kids. Seeing someone on the other side of the screen is so much more personal than just listening to them speak on the phone.

southcamp8 - Just because it has a higher resolution doesn't mean that it is better. After working with my 1600x1200 screen at work all day I want something easy on the eyes at home. WXGA fits the bill. I once had an SXGA+ screen on a T42 and I hated it. Text was fuzzy and the screen was washed out. I haven't personally seen the WXGA+ but it appears that is the screen most often complained about here?
