    What is the process for using the switchable graphics in XP(T400)?

    I've heard it doesn't work in XP and then I've also heard that you just have to reboot. So hopefully I can find someone that has first hand experience because mine just shipped today. I like the switchable graphics but if it has to be dedicated all the time because I chose XP I can live with it.

    I believe you have to change it in BIOS each time you want to change it.

    The setting has to be made in BIOS for switchable (Vista only), integrated, or discrete graphics. That means that yes, you have to reboot every time you want to change it.
