I can't figure out what kind of battery came with my X200. I looked at the battery but it does not say if it is a 4 cell, 6cell or 9 cell. The FRU of the battery is 42T4649. I did a google search for this FRU and wasn't able to get a clear result. Can someone tell me what kind of battery I have? Thanks.

Can you post a picture? The 4 cell should it completely flush, the 6 cell should raise the x200 slightly and the 9 cell should stick out the back. Additionally, the advanced tab in power manager should show the "design capacity". The, 4, 6, 9 cells should be 28, 56, and 84 wHR respectively.

Holy crap, it is a 9 cell! The person I bought it from said I was going to get a 4 cell but he included a 9 cell instead and it had no cycles on it when I got it

jon - I just took a look in power manager and the Full charge capacity is 85.78Wh. The battery does stick out the back and lifts the laptop up a bit. Even with the battery the machine is amazingly light. I was expecting a 4 cell and was going to purchase a 6 cell for long off AC time, but now I am probably not going to buy any battery. I will be doing a review of the X200 pretty soon. Let me get the picture of the battery for you. It will take a few minutes.

No wonder I am getting like 6 hrs of battery life :D . Thanks for your help guys.

If it is a 9cell you should be getting more than 6hrs of battery life.

Really, Hmmm? Well this will be a topic for a whole new thread I will start in which I will be asking help in configuring my power plan. I keep my screen brightness to 7 bars and mostly use my wifi when I use the machine. I haven't had much time in the last few days to tweek the machine as much as I wanted. This is the next thing I will be playing with; trying to squeeze out as much battery life as possible.
