I ordered my T400 yesterday and now (I know I should not do that if I want to keep my sanity) starting the research on the 128GB SSD that comes with it.

Currently my order shows this line:

    Code:
    45M3107 SBB 128GBHIPERSOLSTDRIVESERATA
I found this in a separate thread realated to SSDs:

    Slow:
    Code:
    OLD SAMSUNG 128GB SSD MLC; FRU # 41W0519 (MMCQE28G8MUP-0VA)
    Fast:
    Code:
    NEW SAMSUNG 128GB SSD MLC; FRU # 45N7953 (MMCRE28G8MXP-0VB)
So none seem to match. If the 45M3107 just a generic part number for 128GB SSD or is it something completely different from these Samsung drives?

Should I check on lenovo.com smewhere?

    Thanks in advance!

BTW ordered on 12-02 and expected ship date is 12-10. Keeping fingers crossed it makes it here quicker than that.

45M3107 is an inventory part number, not a FRU.   you won't know the exact FRU number until your system ships and your order status is updated with your serial number.   a few days later you'll be able to perform a parts lookup and get the actual FRU for your 128GB SSD.

Thank you for clarifying. This waiting is killing me :). It's a custom build laptop so I hope it will be the new (better) SSDs and not old stock.
