The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What network profile manager do you use?

    Since I use the laptop in different locations, it is become tiresome to keep changing TCP/IP and browser proxy settings. XP is my OS.

    When I searched the internet I found a load of shareware apps. I prefer that it's free, and maybe one that Lenovo has released (if there is any).

    Doesn't the ThinkVantage Access Connection app do this? When I had my T42p I used Access Connection everywhere I went, loved it.

    That is what I thought, I'm fairly certain Access Connections will work, but I'm not positive.
