My z60m is on the way and I need a sleeve/case for this baby.
Any ideas? I would like as low profile as possible, but w/ room to carry the power module and a few accessories.
    Thanks,
    T

I highly recommend either the ThinkPad Nylon carrying case or the Premium leather case. The Nylon is half the price, but both are excellent bags. I used a Premium for about two years, and am currently using a new Nylon case that I bought for my new T42.

What is great about these bags is that they dont have extra feautres you never use, like CD sleeves built in (who carries around loose CDs anymore?) or wierd velcro tabs on internal pockets that restrict what you can put in.

The Nylon and Premium bags are slightly different - the nylon has a foldover flap in front that hides a combo accessories and file folder area, whereas the Premium has a larger accessories area iuncluding several internal zippered mesh areas ideal for cables etc. Both feature an external pocket for small accessories like your cell phone, usb drive, some pens, etc. Both also have a rear magazine poket that also holds files - i can squeeze a magazine, a pad of paper, and several folders in there easily.

quality is excellent, too. The premium has clasping plastic handles that are very comfortable; the Nylon has leather-wrapped handles. All zipper pulls are solid black plastic. The bags both feature ruber feet on the bottom to keep them upright and heavy stitching all around. They both come with a leather-acentted, elastic padded shoulder strap that attaches to solid metal grommets. Theres also a single red-dot zipper for the extrenal compartment on both which is kind of cool.

And both feature the SafePort protection system inside the main compartment, which is basically inflated rubber bags on teh bottom and sides that insulate the laptop very well from impacts, both everyday and more drastic.

overall, both these bags are high quality and have a great feautre set without extra bells aqnd whistles that are more for show than function.

Here are links to them on newegg:

Neweg has a lot of good photos for both bags, more than you can find at IBMs site or on targus.com (which is the actual manufacturer, selling thinkpad branded bags under license agreement).
