Does anyone know of local stores that have T400 on display? It would help to see its goods/bads on my hand.

Bestbuy, circuitcity, fry's, staples, office depot, office max?

It will be difficult to see a T400 in a store. College bookstores sometimes have ThinkPads on display.

Man its uncanny, Zaz thinks the same as me. This is exactly what I was going to say. I saw the thinkpad machines in person was at a local college bookstore a Z61 15.4" and a T61 14.1" and got to try them out. I was real happy that I made the trip. Definitely check that out.

Unusually, I also saw a used R series thinkpad in the bottom shelf of a Circuit City store. But I am sure this is not common.
