maybe i should append this to my earlier post but i thought it might not get responses so ...

my order says the keyboard coming to me is a 39T6476. I've searched around and even gone to the lenovo keyboard replcement page and haven't been able to exactly figure out who makes this particular keyboard. I think it's an ALPS but I'm not sure. Anyone know for sure?

As regards the screen, it's a 42T6590. That would make it an LG ... correct?

    thanks once again.

If you search around in this forum you would find you have the ALPS keyboard. And you got the LG screen.

You can't find what kind of screen it is with that number. As stated in your other thread, you must have the serial number FIRST, then find the FRU#s for your specific system. To save you the trouble, here's a list of XGA 14.1 FRU#s, which you can just compare to when you actually get yours.

    Samsung 13N7051
    CMO 13N7053
    BOE-Hydis 13N7055
    TMD 13N7057

    There you go.
